Acceptable Use Policy

Xuptify sends requests from many regions and can reach people by phone. These rules keep that capability pointed at keeping systems healthy, never at harming them.

01Monitoring

  • Only monitor systems you own or have written permission to test.
  • Do not use monitors to load-test, flood, scrape at scale or probe for vulnerabilities.
  • Do not use checks to get around rate limits, paywalls or access controls.
  • Do not include credentials in monitors for systems you are not authorised to access.

02Paging and messaging

  • Only add phone numbers and email addresses of people who have agreed to receive alerts.
  • Do not use on-call paging or status page subscriptions to send marketing or unrelated messages.
  • Do not use voice or SMS features to harass, threaten or mislead anyone.

03Status pages

  • Do not impersonate another company or publish a status page for a service you do not operate.
  • Do not publish content that is unlawful, defamatory or that exposes personal data of others.
  • Do not publish secrets, credentials or internal security details.

04Platform integrity

  • Do not attempt to access other workspaces, our infrastructure or data that is not yours.
  • Do not reverse engineer, overload or interfere with the service or its check regions.
  • Use the API within published rate limits.

05Enforcement

We may pause monitors, block numbers or suspend accounts that break this policy, and will tell you why. Report suspected abuse through contact page.
